The practice is taking part in essential training on Thursday 12th March from 1.00pm to 6.00pm onwards.
Whilst we are undergoing training the following options are available:
- For urgent medical problems that cannot wait until we reopen tomorrow, please call 111 who are supplying urgent medical cover this afternoon
- For medical emergencies please dial 999 or visit an Accident & Emergency Unit at Shrewsbury or Wrexham
- For routine and administrative queries you can submit an econsult via our website:

- For minor ailments and medication advice you can visit a Community Pharmacy
- For minor injuries you can visit the Minor Injury Unit in Oswestry Health Centre

- If your query does not relate to any of the above and it cannot wait until tomorrow you can press the buzzer to speak to someone at reception
Urgent appointments today will not be accessible via speaking to reception and any urgent medical matters are to be directed to 111 this afternoon
Private weight loss injections
Patients who are receiving a private prescription for the weight loss injectable Wegovy/ mounjaro should be aware of new guidance which means that all females under 55 taking it need to be on appropriate contraception as it is very important to avoid pregnancy whilst taking this drug.

We will also be contacting patients who we know are on this medication to make them aware and to check they are taking it safely.
CQC inspection
